This is the world famous, Low Rider,  two seater Custom TRIKE, built as a TV series, by Mark Evans & team, on Discovery channel Home & Leisure .  The DVD of the series is available on Ebay or the internet, just tap into Google , A Bike is Born . Sky repeat the series from time to time.
Anybody who feels like building a BOOM trike would be well advised to obtain a copy. As a ‘one man band’, large scale, semi. pro. steam model engineer, with an extensive workshop, it would have made me wince. You would save only £1000.

· This trike benifited from being made from the best of everything available at the time including ,the dummy fuel tank , handlebars & front mudguard from the Street Fighter.
· All polished stainless, very little chrome.
· Engine 1600cc. VW. Boxer with Twin 40 IDF Weber down draught Carburetors, Now correctly jetted & balanced. Jets :- Idle 45 . emulsion tube F11, Air compensation jet 210. Main jet 130. Perfect, gruntifull power,  plus 40mpg. Clean exhaust & plugs .
· 60mm. stainless steel Comfort forks.
· Avo sports suspension with oil damping variable control.
· 38mm. stainless steel Extreme handlebars.
· Large centrally mounted headlamps.
· Jet lights [4] system, that follows the h/bar angle.
· 10”chrome alloy rear rims with 295/50-15 tyres.
· Front tyre 150/70 on 4.25/17 [stainless spoked] alloy rim.
· Braided brake lines.
· Discs all round, dual integral braking system.
· 48mm. stainless bumper.
· Thatcham approved cat.1 alarm & immobilizer . datatag.
· Waterproof electrical central distribution unit.
· Custom air brush paintwork.   Ferrari Red base colour gel coat, black & silver highlights, anti-scratch coating.
· Fuel tank 38 litre steel, plastic coated.
· 4 in to 2 sports exhaust. [stainless steel]
· Figure of 8 leg protection bars. [stainless steel]
· Luggage. Blue LED’s lighting  & chrome engine dress .
·  Facet electric fuel pump [ 3.5psi ] , [ near l/h Weber ]

These Trikes are heavily made to German exacting standards, although a front wheel lift, engine kill switch is fitted the weight on the front wheel is enough, handling is fantastic . A terrific crowd puller, this is my 3rd trike, The first being a new Rewaco, then the Honda hillclimb [which I rebuilt], both on this webpage , plus the latest Yamaha cruiser XV1900cc Midnight Star V twin, by far the best cruiser in the world , but now replaced by the new 1830cc Honda Goldwing , just the ultimate bike, having owned the best & tried them all. Good triking.  THE only way to travel.
